The Bills are led by head coach Sean McDermott, quarterback Josh Allen and defensive back Tre’Davious White. Buffalo comes in with a 10-6 record and captured the No. 5 seed in the AFC.

The Texans are led by head coach Bill O’Brien, quarterback Deshaun Watson, and defensive lineman J.J. Watt. Houston comes in with a 10-6 and the No. 4 seed in the AFC after winning the AFC South division.

Here’s how our experts see the game playing out.

Matthew Stypulkoski: The Bills haven’t won a playoff game since 1995, but that streak is about to end. This defense is legit and Josh Allen keeps doing just enough to make this team dangerous. Bills 24, Texans 20.

Matt Lombardo: The Buffalo Bills, weren’t able to pull off the upset two weeks ago, but Sean McDermott’s team certainly looks like the heir apparent to the Patriots in the AFC East. With Josh Allen, John Brown and Devin Singletary on offense and. Ferocious defense, the Bills are more than a complete enough roster to take out the Texans. Even with a healthy JJ Watt. Bills 27, Texans 23.

Zack Rosenblatt: I have a hard time trusting Bill O’Brien to make the right calls in big moments, even if Deshaun Watson is capable of leading any team deep into the playoffs. The Bills are just impressive with an elite defense and Josh Allen playing well at quarterback. Bills 27, Texans 21.

Darryl Slater: The Bills were one of the NFL’s best stories this season. Imagine how crazy Buffalo will go if the Bills win a playoff game for the first time since 1995. Hide your folding tables, folks. On the flip side, Bill O’Brien could be in trouble in Houston with a one-and-done playoff showing. Bills 28, Texans 27.

Mike Kaye: Like the Eagles, the Texans are a weird division winner. Houston seems to be as up and down as it gets, yet the squad plays in the AFC South, which surprisingly have two playoff teams. While the Bills came up short against the Patriots a couple of weeks ago, Buffalo seems to be a formidable playoff team. This is likely to be a defensive struggle with QB mobility factoring into the matchup on both sides. Buffalo just seems like a dangerous squad at this point. Bills 23, Texans 20.

Joe Giglio: One team is built for this. The other isn’t.

Buffalo is built for this. After winning on the road in Dallas and Pittsburgh and hanging tough with Baltimore and New England, the Bills are battle tested. Look for Josh Allen to play efficiently vs. a suspect defense (even with J.J. Watt returning) and the Bills ground game to get going vs. a defense that allowed over 120 yards per game rushing.

Houston isn’t built for this. The Texans drew a poor matchup, will be on the losing end of the coaching battle (Buffalo’s Sean McDermott vs. Houston’s Bill O’Brien) and can’t count on wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins saving the day. The reason? Star Bills corner Tre’Davious White will take him out of the game. Bills 24, Texans 20.
